Have you ever dreamed of owning your own B&B/Inn?  If you have, you are like many people who want to "some day" be an innkeeper.  But, why wait?  Right now, you can start on the road to innkeeping by being an Interim Innkeeper; taking care of another's B&B/Inn while they are away!

Interim Innkeeping provides you with the flexibility to travel to beautiful places, stay at gorgeous B&B's/Inn's, and take care of people in a special way.  You will learn how to take care of the business side of innkeeping so that the owners can take their much needed vacation to recharge their batteries. You experience many different types of B&B's/Inn's and see how the professionals do it. If and when you decide to purchase your own B&B/Inn, you will already have the experience you need to be successful.  And, you get paid for doing what you love!

Our training provides you with all you need to know to be an excellent Interim Innkeeper. We investigate all facets of Interim Innkeeping and answer all your questions. You will leave the training with a new level of understanding and confidence and be ready for your first assignment!

Our course is a 2-day intensive course.  Using a very comprehensive training manual, which you take with you at the end of the course, we go over all the Inn's and Outs of the Interim Innkeeping business.  The course is filled with entertaining and informative anticdotes and you will get a real experience of being an interim innkeeper.

From cooking, cleaning and putting heads in beds, you will learn what it takes to be an interim innkeeper.  The cooking portion of the class is held on the second morning, when you experience making a full breakfast.  If there are guests at the inn, we cook their breakfast!

Tuition includes all course materials, dinner on your first day, overnight accomodations at one of the beautiful B&B's/Inn's, a wonderful breakfast that you prepare, lunch and an afternoon snack.   Information on certifications, such as ServSafe food handler, CPR and First Aid will be provided at the course.  You will also be given information on joining the Interim Innkeepers Network (www.interiminnkeepers.net), a wonderful, supportive network of other interim innkeepers.
Tuition for the class is $425 single/$725 couple.  ($225 per person without overnight lodging) A $250 per person deposit is required. The balance is due on or before the first day of class. If you must cancel, please do so prior to 31 days of class so that we can re-fill your space and return your deposit, less a $25 processing fee.  If you cancel within 31 days of the class date, you will not receive a refund unless we can re-fill your spot.  Please see the "Schedule and Application" page for dates and instructions on registering for an upcoming class. See you soon!
